Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our academically driven Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. You will deliver clinical GI care for children with liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders in a collaborative team of 12 pediatric GI physicians and 7 nurse practitioners.

The role emphasizes education and mentorship of residents, medical students, and GI fellows, with opportunities for research and leadership.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Board-eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology; Ohio medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical gastroenterology care for pediatric patients.
• Mentor and educate residents, medical students, and GI fellows; participate in research and scholarly activity.
