Job summary

UPMC Childrens Hospital in Erie, PA is recruiting a Pediatric Gastroenterologist for Erie, PA at UPMC Hamot. The physician must have an MD or equivalent, be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

The opportunity includes eight clinical/procedure sessions weekly, initially outpatient and procedures with plans to grow to inpatient consults, and a competitive base salary with an RVU-based incentive bonus,

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required for eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Responsibilities

• Eight clinical/procedure sessions per week with seven patients per session.
• Initially outpatient care and procedures with growth to inpatient consults.
• Growing practice with one MD already onsite.
• Opportunity to build a subspecialty within pediatric GI.
• Use Cerner EMR for documentation and orders.
