Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. in Santa Clara, California, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our pediatric subspecialty team. Inpatient and outpatient consultations, endoscopy procedures, and interpretation of pH/impedance traces are expected.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in advancing pediatric gastroenterology care within a collaborative environment, with access to a regional network of gastroenterologists, physicians, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric gastroenterology.
• California medical license or eligibility.
• Willing to teach medical students and residents.
• Willing to work collaboratively and collegially.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric GI.
• Perform endoscopic procedures (e.g., endoscopy, colonoscopy).
• Review pH/impedance tracings and video capsule endoscopy where applicable.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, dietitians, social workers, and nursing staff.
