The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Clinical Pediatrics rank.

The successful candidate will join a growing division dedicated to excellence in clinical care, education, and program development, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services while contributing to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree.
• Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• 3 years pediatric residency/3 years fellowship pediatric gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric GI and nutritional disorders.
• Lead multidisciplinary clinical programs with surgical, nutrition and allied teams.
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services with advanced diagnostics.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical protocol development.
• Contribute to scholarly activity and program development.
