Akron Children’s is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and academically driven team. You will contribute to clinical care, research, and education for residents, fellows, and medical students in a dedicated division of pediatric gastroenterology.

The role emphasizes advancing clinical and educational missions, while providing leadership in a growing program. Ohio licensure and ABP certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology are required or imminent.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or eligibility).
• Ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in division's academic mission through education of residents, medical students and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical care for children with GI, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
• Collaborate with gastroenterology team to advance education and research missions.
