Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) seeks a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Assistant/Associate Professor rank for clinical care, teaching, and research. Interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease is desirable but not required.

Team includes seven pediatric GI physicians and three GI nurse practitioners; position is full-time across hospital and clinics with opportunities for faculty development and leadership in scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pediatric residency and three years fellowship-training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
• Board eligible/certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric GI, Hepatology and Nutrition.
• Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical duties at MHealth Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital and clinics.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows; participate in academic activities.
• Engage in research projects and scholarly activities, alone or with collaborators.
• Full-time commitment (1.0 FTE) with active involvement in professional organizations.
