Job summary

District Medical Group Inc. (DMG) is looking for a full‑time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join their multi-specialty practice in Tolleson, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric GI disorders and endoscopic procedures, as well as strong teaching and communication skills. DMG considers both practicing physicians and newly graduated fellows, including those requiring visa sponsorship. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Overview

District Medical Group Inc. (DMG) is one of the largest multi‑specialty practices in Metropolitan Phoenix and, in conjunction with Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC), is seeking a full‑time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.

VHMC is a full‑service hospital with a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center, pediatric ED, NICU, PICU, Pediatric Acute Care Unit, and a robust FQHC ambulatory clinic providing general pediatric and subspecialty services. It also hosts nine residency programs, including the Pediatric Residency shared with Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of pediatric GI disorders.
• Demonstrated skills in the full gamut of pediatric GI endoscopic and other procedures.
• Excellent teaching and education skills, and strong communication and team skills.

DMG will consider both practicing physicians and newly graduated fellows, as well as candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J‑1 waiver and/or H1B). Spanish language proficiency would be beneficial.
