Summer Pediatrics in Stamford, CT is seeking a friendly Pediatric Front Desk Specialist to join our growing team. You will be the first smile and voice for families, handling calls, scheduling, and patient intake with warmth and professionalism.

The role requires excellent communication, compassion for children and families, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Prior pediatric front desk or EMR experience is a plus, and Spanish speaking is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in pediatric front desk or medical office is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer a high-volume, multi-line phone system and assist callers courteously.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect demographic information.
• Register new patients and update electronic medical records (eCW experience is a plus).
• Collect copays and balances while explaining office policies.
• Process referrals, forms, and incoming documents.
• Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist families with the patient portal and registration forms.
• Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and child-friendly.
• Perform additional administrative tasks to support daily office operations.
