Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer one year experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls in a professional manner and assists caller’s needs.
• Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Checks-in patients, updates information in medical records, handles registration and copays.
• Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties and provides customer service.
• Performs appointment scheduling, referrals, and pre-certifications as needed.
• Files charts and coordinates lab work and other correspondence.
• Maintains neat and orderly work area and supports team objectives.
