Job summary

Envision is seeking part-time and per diem Pediatricians to support our Pediatric Emergency Department at Medical City Children's Hospital. You will work alongside Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to care for lower-acuity pediatric patients while ensuring timely access to emergency services during peak seasonal demand.

The role offers flexible evening scheduling tailored to patient volume, with competitive compensation for seasonal coverage and on-site work

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board-certified in Pediatrics.
• Current Texas medical license.
• Commitment to teamwork and patient- and family-centered care.
• Prior emergency medicine or urgent care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage pediatric patients presenting with lower-acuity complaints in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians and APPs for coordinated patient care.
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
