Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist with epilepsy/neurophysiology expertise to join our growing neuroscience team. The ideal candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with neurologic conditions, focusing on epilepsy diagnosis and treatment.

We offer EEG interpretation, collaboration with neurosurgeons and hospitalists, and opportunities to participate in clinical research and education

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology, and Epilepsy/Neurophysiology.
• Eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurologic care to pediatric patients, including those with complex epilepsy.
• Interpret EEGs and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Participate in development and expansion of Epilepsy Service at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, hospitalists, intensivists, and other subspecialists.
• Participate in inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and shared call coverage.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
