Job summary

The Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Technician at Mary Bridge Children’s will provide advanced technical and patient care support for EP procedures in pediatric patients and adults with congenital heart disease. You will assist with intracardiac mapping, ablations, device implantation, and EP studies within a family-centered care framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiology program.
• Current RCIS or ARRT certification.
• RCES registry within six months of employment or commitment to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain EP lab environment with safety and infection control.
• Assist under RN/Cath Lab Ops Manager during EP procedures.
• Set up EP/Cath equipment and verify function of mapping systems and sterilize as required.
• Perform equipment QC and maintain inventory at par levels.
• Act in scrub, circulator, and recording roles for EP procedures including mapping and ablation.
