Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, part of the MultiCare network, seeks a Supervisor of Environmental Services for an exciting leadership role in Tacoma. This evening shift position (4pm-12am) oversees EVS and linen staff, ensuring a safe, clean, patient‑focused environment and a positive patient family experience.

The role requires supervisory experience, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and a background in environmental services within acute care or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Three years of experience in environmental services or acute care related support departments.
• Previous supervisory or lead capacity experience required.
• Experience working in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer management functions within MultiCare policies and standards and federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensure department operations align with Joint Commission, Department of Health, and MultiCare standards.
• Ensure floor care and other project work are performed as scheduled.
• Assist in performing quality improvement initiatives, as requested.
