Qualifications

• 1 year of direct nursing experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification required; PALS/NRP preferred by unit.
• Post hire requirements include specialty certifications per unit guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, individualized nursing care utilizing the nursing process to support the medical plan of treatment.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality service.
• Provide clear communication with patients and families and advocate for the patient.
