Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologists for opportunities across Central and Northern New Jersey, providing inpatient and outpatient care within New Jersey's largest academic health system.

Candidates may participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in clinical research, scholarly activity, and community outreach across multiple hospital sites in New Brunswick, Livingston, and Newark.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent.
• Completed Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Licensed or eligible for New Jersey medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric endocrinology care.
• Participate in shared inpatient consultation and call coverage.
• Diagnose and manage diabetes and other pediatric endocrine conditions.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research, scholarly activity, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support community education and outreach programs.
• Contribute to growth of pediatric endocrinology services across the system.

RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking Pediatric Endocrinologists Across New Jersey!

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health are seeking full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologists for opportunities across Central and Northern New Jersey. Successful candidates will join established teams providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care throughout New Jersey's largest academic healthcare system.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, candidates may participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities for faculty appointments, clinical research, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and community outreach are also available based on experience, qualifications, and practice location.

Available practice locations include New Brunswick, Livingston, and Newark, with clinical services provided at:

• The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
• Rutgers Child Health Institute of New Jersey
• Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
• Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent
• Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
