Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist for a full-time position in the Pediatrics department. The role offers a diverse mix of outpatient and inpatient duties, with teaching opportunities for medical students and residents.

The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders in children, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in quality improvement or scholarly activities as applicable.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and Massachusetts license required.
• Board certification or eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of endocrine disorders in pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with diabetes educators, nutritionists, nurses, social workers, psychologists and subspecialists for coordinated, family-centered care.
• Balance outpatient continuity clinics with inpatient consults for clinical variety and engagement.
• Opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows, with involvement in quality improvement or research.

Key Highlights

• Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes (Type 1 & 2), growth disorders, thyroid disease, puberty disorders, adrenal conditions, metabolic bone disease, and disorders of sex development.

Multidisciplinary, Team‑Based Practice

Collaborate closely with diabetes educators, nutritionists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and pediatric subspecialists to deliver coordinated, family‑centered care.

Balanced Clinical Experience

Mix of outpatient continuity clinics with inpatient consults, providing clinical variety and professional engagement.
