Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo is seeking a full-time pediatric endocrinologist to join our team. You will provide inpatient consultation to pediatricians and subspecialists, NICU, PICU, and ED, and participate in teaching residents and medical students.

The position offers collaboration with Diabetes Youth Services and opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary clinics and educational conferences with division faculty in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions.
• Develops and implements treatment plans for patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Communicates with patients and their families to provide education and support.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals.
• Participates in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows as required.
• Stays up-to-date with medical advancements and research to provide the best possible care.
