Parkview Health is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our Pediatric Subspecialty Team at our Main Campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role emphasizes a strong outpatient focus with a 90% outpatient workload and 10% inpatient duties.

Office hours are 8a-5p with flexibility; call is 1:3. There are opportunities for clinical teaching and student education, and a strong involvement in quality improvement within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified pediatric endocrinologist.
• Interest in quality improvement and teaching.
• Ability to work with a collaborative team including APPs, RNs, and diabetes educators.

Responsibilities

• Join a pediatric endocrinology team with a 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient workload.
• Office hours from 8a to 5p with flexibility.
• On-call responsibility at a 1:3 ratio.
• Involvement in clinical teaching and medical student education.

The Team

• Work alongside a collaborative team of advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and diabetes educators to deliver specialized care to pediatric patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other endocrine disorders.
• Dynamic Adult Endocrinology Program featuring a team of dedicated adult endocrinologists and advanced practice providers who actively collaborate with Pediatric Endocrinology to ensure a smooth and supportive transition of care from adolescence to adulthood.
• Well-established network of pediatric specialists and outpatient services, offering comprehensive care and support across a wide range of pediatric subspecialties.
• Compassionate team of experienced physicians, expert nurses and highly trained clinical staff ensures that every child receives quality care and attention.

• A robust Enterprise Diabetes Program, headed by a Director and Medical Director
