Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide leadership in patient care using the nursing process. You will delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to achieve quality outcomes.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS and CPI certifications are required or to be completed within set timelines. Compliance with safety and privacy standards is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required or within specified timelines.
• CPI de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, software and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process.

• Lead and delegate tasks within the nursing team and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.
