Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking a School Liaison - Child Life for full-time days. You will support the Academic Coordinator and Child Life leadership, helping identify and provide educational resources to our patients to meet their developmental needs.

You will coordinate hospital home bound instruction and tutoring, assess academic needs for chronically ill patients, and advocate for appropriate educational services while maintaining a safe, organized department environment.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field required (or prior school experience).
• American Heart Association BLS required within 90 days of hire; maintain active status.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports Academic Coordinator and department leaders with educational services for patients.
• Assists families with hospital home bound education and tutoring services.
• Identifies learning needs and adjusts teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintains a safe, organized environment within the Child Life department.
