Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks an echocardiography technologist to perform high-quality heart ultrasound studies as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will work to ensure accurate imaging, patient comfort, and timely communication with physicians.

The role requires ARDMS certification in AE and/or PR, a pediatric competency option, and BLS. A preferred associate degree echo program and ongoing professional growth are emphasized in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
