Job description
Join our team as a Pediatric Echo Sonographer

The ideal candidate is willing to travel between our different centers located in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Carlisle, York Memorial, Chambersburg.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform imaging procedures at an advanced level, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and a broad knowledge of cardiac pathology.
  2. Assist Lead Sonographer or Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
  3. Function independently, cover shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, maintaining communication with the lead and management team. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  4. Learn new skills and educate others, serving as a resource for new hires and students.
  5. Participate in standardization activities with system-level workgroups and work directly with Cardiologists on protocol development.
  6. Exhibit advanced knowledge of normal anatomy and pathology, recognize pathology, and communicate findings effectively with physicians.
  7. Perform all responsibilities of a Level I Sonographer.
  8. Adhere to system-wide and departmental values, policies, and procedures.
