Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a dedicatedDiagnostics staff member to perform ECGs, Holters, and related tests, supporting physicians in evaluating cardiac function across neonatal to adult pediatric patients.

You will document results, participate in CQI initiatives, and collaborate as part of a service-oriented team. The role requires a high school diploma (associates/CNA preferred), at least six months pediatric ECG experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree and/or Certified Nurse Assistant preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in pediatric ECG and arrhythmia evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Performs ECGs, Holters and other diagnostic tests.
• Supports device team processing in Epic and PaceArt when applicable.
• Recognizes demographic errors and ensures accurate ECG data processing.
• Identifies dangerous arrhythmias and notifies the cardiologist.
• Processes charges and ensures correct coding for hospital and physician charges.
