Penn State Health Children's Hospital Division of Developmental Medicine is seeking a PHD level Psychologist, licensed in PA and experienced with psychoeducational testing and evaluation of children and adolescents.
Join our Division of Pediatric Developmental Medicine – as a Clinical Pediatric Neuropsychologist or Clinical Psychologist now! We are committed to excellent clinical care, teaching, and research.
We are a division of 1 full time developmental physician, 3 part‑time developmental pediatricians, 1 speech therapist, and educational specialists. The division staff includes excellent administrative and scheduling support. Assessment and treatment personnel include a speech therapist who provides Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale testing and evaluation of complex speech and language disorder. The education specialists work with both schools and parents to translate the team’s recommendations into the classroom, and an LPN coordinator who obtains prior authorizations, works with families to answer questions and discuss concerns and a part‑time social worker to assist with obtaining medical assistance and finding needed home services.
We provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluations for children with suspected autism, ADHD, learning disorders and variety of developmental impairments. Special interests of the division include evaluation of children under 5 years of age for autism and other developmental disorders, psychopharmacology for treatment of aggression, management of ADHD, use of medical marijuana in the setting of autism, and collaborates with the Autism Division in Psychiatry to develop an Autism Program.
