Job summary

Elica Health Centers is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to lead pediatric dental services and deliver high-quality care within our community clinics. You will perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and treatments for children, including those with special healthcare needs, while coordinating with medical providers and specialists.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency.
• Board certified by the ABPD.
• Current, unrestricted California Dental License.
• Current DEA and CURES registrations as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with underserved populations preferred.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric dental exams, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Provide preventive, restorative, emergency, and therapeutic dental services.
• Manage pediatric dental trauma, oral pathology, and growth concerns.
• Coordinate care with other providers and community resources.
• Educate patients and caregivers on oral health practices.
• Collaborate with dental team to ensure integrated patient care.
• Supervise clinical staff and maintain EHR documentation.
• Report to Chief Dental Officer on service quality and access.
