Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis (averaging 32 hours per week). The role offers per diem earnings of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earning potential through collections, and features integrated orthodontics/periodontics within a multi-specialty practice.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostics; monitor growth of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics in the dental office.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
