Qualifications

• Pharmacology details not required; must hold ADA CODA‑accredited degree.
• Eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry with active licensure.
• Licensed to practice in the state where the role is located.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B is required.
• Malpractice insurance coverage evidence is required.
• BLS or CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and treatments.
• Maintain and update patient dental records.
• Review X‑rays and monitor dental development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
