Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Wellesley, MA. This role offers a flexible schedule within a full-service, multi-specialty practice focused on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry for children.

Work in a supportive environment with integrated orthodontics and periodontics, located about 15 miles from downtown Boston. Per diem earnings range from $1,000 to $1,200 with uncapped earning potential based on collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited dental school.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited program)
