The role requires a DDS/DMD with a pediatric residency, Oregon license eligibility, and expertise in sedation and behavior guidance to deliver exceptional patient care to children and families.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program.
• Eligible for or current unrestricted Oregon Dental License.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.
• Perform preventive, restorative, and emergency dental procedures.
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide; provide sedation services as appropriate.
• Manage patient behavior using age-appropriate communication and behavior guidance techniques.
• Collaborate with orthodontists and other dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
