Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a licensed Pediatric Dentist to join our ASC-based care teams. You will work with a multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality dental care to pediatric and special needs patients in a surgical setting.

You will perform restorative procedures including posterior SSCs, veneer SSCs, pulpotomies and primary teeth exodontia, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Broad clinical experience working with pediatric patients.
• Ability to work with special needs patients in a surgical setting.
• Knowledge of sedation and general anesthesia guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient quality care.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients in a typical OR day.
• Perform restorative care focusing on SSCs, veneer SSCs, pulpotomies and exodontia.

ABOUT YOU

You are a licensed Pediatric Dentist with a passion for providing excellent care to your patients. You have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You work well with the other members of your surgical team, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

YOU WILL

• Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient quality care for each patient
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients in a typical OR day
• Perform various restorative care primarily focusing on posterior stainless-steel crowns (SSCs), anterior esthetic (veneered) SSCs, pulpotomies, and exodontia of primary teeth

YOU HAVE

Requirements + Qualifications

• Broad clinical experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification, or can acquire within 6 months of start date
• Knowledge of and familiarity with American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry policies and best practices including guidelines on sedation and general anesthesia co-written by our Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Stephen Wilson

Preferred

• Board certification or eligibility strongly preferred, but not required
