Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist open to treating children in our Saginaw, MI office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services. Ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a long-term career or to supplement current schedule.

Part-time or full-time options, with a per diem of 1,000–1,200. Modern facility with integrated specialty services and a supportive team.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
Malpractice insurance coverage.
BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay current with developments and continuing education.
