Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI, seeks a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist open to treating children, full-time or part-time. The practice delivers general, pediatric, orthodontic and periodontic services in a modern facility with advanced technology and a dedicated patient base.

Ideal candidates hold a DMD or DDS, with board eligibility/certification in pediatric dentistry, a current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay updated with developments and CE
