Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who enjoys treating children, to join our team in a modern, multi-specialty practice offering General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services.

The right candidate will commit to excellent patient care and a long-term career path, with flexible days based on availability. Compensation includes a per diem range of $1,000–$1,200.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review/update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest standard of care for all patients.
• Uphold ethics and professionalism in the dental office.
• Keep current with developments, technologies, and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
