Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license to practice in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health options and procedures.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or improve oral health.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care at the highest standard.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
