42North Dental, in partnership with Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI, seeks a pediatric dentist or a general dentist open to treating children. The practice offers integrated orthodontics and oral surgery within a modern facility, with opportunities for long-term career growth.

Candidates should hold a DMD/DDS (ADA CODA-accredited), state license, BLS/CPR, and malpractice insurance. Per diem compensation of $1,000–$1,200 is available with flexible part- or full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education
