Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with a dedicated patient base.

Part-time or Full-Time schedule with flexible days; 1,000 - 1,200 per diem. Modern, state-of-the-art facility with Solea Laser, CBCT, iTero scanners, and Dental AI permitting anesthesia services.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification on file.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans for children.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination
