Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) who enjoys working with children to join our multi-specialty practice. You’ll provide comprehensive dental care for kids, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.

The role offers part- or full-time scheduling, a 1,000–1,200 per diem rate, modern facilities, and a supportive team focused on long-term patient care and professional growth.

Competenze

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Currently licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance coverage.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and treatment planning for children.
• Educate patients and families on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university‑based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
