Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain professional ethics in the dental office.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Great Lakes Family Dental is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team in our Saginaw, MI office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services. The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for a long-term career track or a pediatric dentist seeking to supplement their current schedule.

Part-time or Full-Time schedule, flexible days based on provider's interest/availability

1,000 - 1,200 per diem

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
