Crescent Community Health Center- Pediatric Dentist

CrescentCommunity Health Center is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist, as weexpand our pediatric dentistry services through a brand-new state of the artpediatric clinic.

CrescentCommunity Health Center located in Dubuque, Iowa, provides access to dental,healthcare, and wellness services for the Tri-State area for all patientswithout regard in ability to pay. We are the only dental clinic in theTri-State region to accept patients with Medicaid, which helps patientaccess.

Ourstate-of-the-art facility (2nd largest in Iowa) consists of 35 operatories,an oral surgery center and an onsite dental lab. We have invested in newequipment such as intraoral scanners, milling machines, 3D imaging, rotaryEndo, and surgical microscopes, which reflects our commitment to embraceadvanced technology. We also work in the community with our new two-operatorymobile dental clinic. These investments align well with our mission to offerhigh quality comprehensive care to all age groups.

Majorresponsibilities of this position will include provision of direct patientcare within the scope of pediatric dentistry, in addition to didactic andclinical teaching at the postdoctoral level for our pediatric dentistryresidents.

Thesuccessful candidate must have a DDS or DMD or equivalent degree and beeligible for board certification, or be board certified, by the AmericanBoard of Pediatric Dentistry. The candidate must be able to obtain a licenseto practice dentistry in the state of Iowa.

Inaddition to providing patient care, the pediatric dentist will qualify for afaculty appointment with the current NYU Langone AEGD program here atCrescent. You would be involved in developing a pediatric dentistry residencyprogram at Crescent and be part of the faculty in the future. Crescent offersa competitive compensation package.

Salarywill be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, andcredentials.
