Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency/program.
• Active Massachusetts dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration and applicable certifications as required.
• Strong pediatric clinical and behavior-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient- and family-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.
• Perform examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate parents and caregivers regarding oral health, preventive care, treatment options, and home care.
• Utilize appropriate pediatric behavior-management techniques to create a comfortable and positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, and other specialty providers when multidisciplinary treatment is appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families while supporting long-term oral health.
• Follow all applicable clinical, infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and growth of pediatric dental services within the practice.
