Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide high-end pediatric dentistry services for patients under 21. The role involves complex cases, including anesthesia, with a full-time team supported by pediatric anesthesia services.

The successful candidate will hold an active state license, have completed a pediatric residency, and be credentialed for Medicaid. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence across our multi-location practice.

Responsabilidades

• Build trust and forge strong relationships with Rodeo team members.
• Lead Dental Assistants and other dental professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• See pediatric patients up to age 21 with complex cases, including use of general anesthesia when needed.
• Participate in CE events to enhance dental skills and knowledge.
• Provide respectful care to all patients regardless of background.
• Notify properly when out of the office to maintain patient flow.
• Collaborate with General Practice dentists daily in a professional manner.
• Work with Regional Leads and Office Leaders to foster a strong clinic culture.
• Utilize Open Dental for efficient patient flow and record keeping.
• Promote safety protocols and maintain a safety-first clinic environment.
• Communicate clearly with office leadership to align on clinic matters.

Job Overview

The Pediatric Dentist will provide high-end pediatric dentistry services to patients all under the age of 21. All of our general practice dentists have the ability to see children, so a majority of the cases our pediatric dentists will see will be more complex cases involving general anesthesia. We have general anesthesiologists as part of our team in a full-time capacity, providing our pediatric dentists the ability to treat patients safely.

Schedule

This position is flexible, and the pediatric dentist will be able to practice based on days agreed to in advance with the Chief Dental Officer. Days can range from 1 day a month up to 20 days a month based on geographic region. Daily schedules for pediatric dentists vary based on region and patient demand, but typically take place from 7am to 2pm daily.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and forge tight relationships with all Rodeo team members.
• Effectively lead Dental Assistants and other dental professionals to produce excellent care for patients.
• See a wide range of cases with patients of all ages, including the pediatric population.
• Participate in CE events hosted by Rodeo Founders and members to continue to build upon dental skillset.
• Treat all patients, regardless of socio-economic status, with the utmost respect.
• Provide proper notice when out of the office to allow essential staff to be prepared for daily patient population.
• Interact with other General Practice dentists on a daily basis in a professional and cordial manner.
• Work with Regional Leads and Office Leaders to develop a strong office culture in your respective clinic.
• Understand and utilize Open Dental for efficient patient flow and organization within the clinic.
• Evangelize safety protocol and create a safety-first culture within your respective clinic.
• Communicate effectively with office leader to ensure alignment on all matters going on in the clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have an active state license prior to starting with Rodeo Dental in the state of the clinic.
• Previous experience is a plus, but not a requirement of this position.
• Must have completed a pediatric residency and hold proper credentials to practice fully as a pediatric dentist in your region.
• Ability to get credentialed by Medicaid is required.
• An interest in career development and dentistry skills is required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting and standing as needed.
• Ability to move from operatory to operatory independently.
