Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
• Active and current Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and clinical knowledge in dental hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, sealants, fluoride treatments, and radiographs.
• Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments using established clinical standards.
• Accurately document patient care and treatments in dental records.
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and disease prevention.
• Conduct oral hygiene classes and provide individualized patient counseling.
• Support dental health education initiatives, including student or community presentations.
• Perform procedures as delegated by the Dental Director in accordance with state regulations and protocols.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical standards.
• Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment.
• Support daily operational workflows within the dental department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within scope.
