Job summary

LumioDental, Inc. is seeking a friendly Pediatric Dental Assistant for our Carthage, MO practice. You will provide warm chairside support to doctors, expose digital diagnostic X-Rays, and help manage pediatric patient records and histories.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, infection control, and collaboration with the dental team. Prior experience is not required; we welcome new students and motivated individuals seeking their first opportunity in private practice.

Responsibilities

• Expose digital diagnostic X-Rays
• Record clinical findings and treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cup
• Apply fluoride varnish, Sealants, and SDF
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Assist in consults and treatment of tongue and lip ties on infants and children
• Assist chairside with nitrous while utilizing behavior guidance techniques
• Assist chairside during IV Sedation
• Assist in the hospital for general anesthesia surgery cases
• Maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule
• Cement stainless steel crowns, and space maintainers**
• Fill and finish restorations**
