Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Dental Assistants who are passionate about working with children to be part of our School Based Dental Program in the Philadelphia School District. Our program provides preventative and comprehensive dental care to children ages 5 to 18, in a safe and familiar environment.

Services include oral health education, routine exams and cleanings, dental fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with X-Ray Certification.
• Two years of experience chairside preferred.
• Able to work with portable/mobile equipment.
• Familiarity with computers and dental software.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
• Able to work well with children.
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual.
• Prior Pediatric Dentistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
• Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
• Sterilization of all equipment.
• Take/process x-Rays using digital Radiography equipment.
• Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
• Any other duties, as assigned.
