Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Dallas, seeks a Pediatric Dental Assistant III to support pediatric patients, provide chairside assistance, radiography and sterilization in a busy clinic.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 4 years as a registered dental assistant, CPR certification and RDA license. Preference for graduation from a dental assisting program and pediatric experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with a competitive hourly rate of $21.51.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of experience as a registered dental assistant in a private practice, clinic, or dental training program.
• CPR certified and Registered Dental Assistant.
• Preferred: graduation from a dental assisting program/certificate; pediatric dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and chairside assistance.
• Perform sterilization and infection control per OSHA.
• Take radiographs and assist with imaging records.
• Assist in pediatric dental procedures and patient education.
