You will manage radiographs, nitrous monitoring, instrument prep and sterilization, and educate families on oral hygiene. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to OSHA standards in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; required state guidelines followed.
• Successful completion of a dental assistant program per state guidelines.
• Coronal Polishing Certification required or preferred.
• Nitrous oxide certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and monitor nitrous oxide.
• Sterilize and deliver instruments; prepare and organize treatment area.
• Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and a clean, safe clinical environment.
