Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor.
• Dental assistant certification per state requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance.
• Help create a calm, positive experience for pediatric patients.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
