Job summary

Mint Dental seeks a dedicated Full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. The role includes assisting dentists in pediatric procedures, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining patient records for our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities include taking X-rays, educating patients and parents on oral hygiene, and supporting front office staff to ensure a smooth patient flow. CPR certification is a plus and pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Ensure the operatory is clean and well-stocked.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.
• Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices.
• Support front office staff when needed.
