Job summary

Lone Star Pediatric Dentistry and Braces is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support pediatric care across our offices. The role emphasizes friendly patient interactions, efficient room setup, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Ideal candidates may have Pediatric Dental Assisting experience or be willing to training. Travel to sister locations may be required to provide support at Killeen, Copperas Cove, and Harker Heights.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Radiography requirements per state regulations.

• Assist pediatric dental procedures and prepare treatment rooms.

Job description

As a Pediatric Dental Assistant with Lone Star Pediatric Dentistry and Braces, you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles!

Hours- Monday through Friday 7:30-5:00pm

Pediatric Dental Assisting experience is preferred, however, we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Our ideal candidate loves kids, is flexible and reliable, and seeks to grow professionally.

Employee may be required to travel to sister locations for additional support as needed to Killeen, Copperas Cove, and Harker Heights

Education/Credentials:

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .


• Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.

Job related experience:

• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.


• Pediatric experience, preferred

• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.

• Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
