Job summary

Medical City Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Tech for our pediatric CVOR team in a PRN role. You will support cardiac surgeons in a high-acuity pediatric environment, ensuring sterile fields, preparing instruments, and assisting during complex procedures.

You’ll manage surgical supplies, operate OR equipment, and maintain accurate counts. Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses is essential.

Qualifications

• PRN surgical technologist with OR experience preferred.
• Experience in pediatric or cardiac procedures.
• Strong emphasis on patient safety and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile fields and prepare instruments for procedures.
• Assist during complex pediatric CVOR cases under supervision.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to ensure efficient OR flow.
